Direct Deposit is now available to people who receive Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits in Hong Kong. If you are receiving monthly VA benefits or pension you may be eligible to have these benefits deposited directly into your bank account. To apply for this service, please complete SF1199A which is located at www.fms.treas.gov/eft/1199a.pdf. Please ensure that you clearly note that is for VA benefits and include both you your Social Security number and your VA file number. For Bank account in Hong Kong the account must be a Hong Kong dollar, or multi currency account. Return the completed form to the Federal Benefits Unit in Hong Kong. • Benefits Claims: We assist you in filing claims for benefits. Ask us about retirement, survivor and disability benefits.
• Changes to Benefits Claims: We can help you if you are required to report some changes to the Federal agencies government. For example, if you change your address, if you know of a beneficiary who dies, if you have not received payments, or if you must file reports to keep your payments – please contact our office for assistance.
• Medicare: We can aid you with new enrollments and answer your questions about Medicare.
• Social Security Cards: Applications for new or replacement social security cards.
