Human Swine Influenza

April 27, 2009

On April 26, the Hong Kong government elevated the alert for Influenza Pandemic from "alert" to "serious" in response to an outbreak of Human Swine Influenza in Mexico and confirmed cases in the United States and Canada. In light of the elevated alert status, we would like all Americans traveling or living in Hong Kong to be aware of the latest information on Human Swine Influenza. The Hong Kong Government maintains up-to-date information on their website: http://www.chp.gov.hk/view_content.asp?lang=en&info_id=16615.
