Republicans Abroad Chair Jeff Blount and Vice Chair Mark Simon faced American Democrats Abroad Chair Michael Ceurvorst and Vice Chair Bonnie Landers in a debate format to discuss the main issues facing the American electorate. CNN anchor Veronica Pedrosa moderated the lively 90-minute event sponsored by the League of Women Voters in Hong Kong. U.S. Consul General James R. Keith welcomed the audience of 150 expat Americans and others interested in the 2004 U.S. presidential election. The event was covered by local and regional media.
