47 minutes, produced in 2008 by the Biography Channel, educational and public performance rights only.

BIOGRAPHY: JOHN MCCAIN is a comprehensive look at the life and political career of Senator John McCain, covering his military family background and his rebellious student days in high school and at the U.S. Naval Academy to his career as a Navy pilot. In 1967 he flew many successful bombing missions over Vietnam before being shot down. He was beaten and tortured during the 5 years he was held as a prisoner of war. In 1982 he successfully ran for political office in Arizona, and as a U.S. Senator he was victorious in getting new campaign finance reform laws passed. In 2000 he failed to win the primary election to run for the presidency on the Republican ticket, but in 2008 he was victorious. BIOGRAPHY: JOHN MCCAIN documents the life of one of the most renowned Republican leaders in American history.
