March On: The Day My Brother Martin Changed the World

Length: 20 minutes
Produced 2008 by Weston Woods Studios (Scholastic)

This is a video adaptation of the children's book MARCH ON: THE DAY MY BROTHER MARTIN CHANGED THE WORLD, written by Dr. Christine King Farris and illustrated by London Ladd.

Originally intended for a young audience, MARCH ON: THE DAY MY BROTHER MARTIN CHANGED THE WORLD, reaches all audiences. The sister of Martin Luther King Jr. presents her personal account of the remarkable day in 1963 when Dr. King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech. This film will help viewers explore the not-so-long-ago time in U.S. history when racism, prejudice, and segregation were legally upheld.

Rights: We have public performance and educational rights for this video. This video can be shown in almost every venue, but no entry fee can be charged.
