Nonimmigrant Visas

Treaty Trader (E1) or Treaty Investor Visas (E2)

Applicants applying for a nonimmigrant visa as a treaty trader or investor must meet strict qualifications concerning their country of nationality, and the nationality of their firm, the size, type and direction of their trade, as well as their position within the company. When the requirements are met and the documents are ready, please make all appointments on the website by clicking here. Please note: Because no treaty exists, E visas are not available to holders of travel documents from Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China. Click here for further information.

E-1 is a visa category for Treaty Traders, and E-2 is a visa category for Treaty Investors. E-3 is a visa category only for Australians going to the United States to work temporarily in a specialty occupation.
